Melissa Vettraino Bachstein, DDS
Dr. Melissa Vettraino Bachstein was born in Canada but grew up in Italy for most of her childhood. While completing her Bachelor degree in Chemistry with Honors at the University of Windsor, she authored several refereed publications and was the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships. She then earned her D.D.S. from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2007 and completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Detroit in 2008. Dr. Vettraino Bachstein went on to complete her specialty training in Endodontics at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in 2010 with an award from the American Association of Endodontists for the presentation of her research project.
Dr. Vettraino Bachstein is involved in academia by serving as a clinical instructor in the Endodontics Department at Albert Einstein Medical Center. She is also an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, Alpha Omega, and the Grossman Study Club. She is currently the President for the Albert Einstein Endodontic Alumni Society.
Dr. Vettraino Bachstein is fluent in Italian.
